Joe Hagedorn has been endorsed by the entire family law bench in Multnomah County, ahead of the November 3 election, in which Hagedorn is running for Multnomah County Circuit Court Judge, Position 14.
The Multnomah County family law bench consists of 13 judges and 4 judges pro tem/referees. That Hagedorn has won the support of every single judge and referee demonstrates that he is clearly the preferred candidate of the colleagues who will work alongside the judge who will be elected to Position 14.
Explaining her support of Hagedorn, whom she has worked with since he became Judge Pro Tem in 2020, Judge Xiomara Torres said, “Joe is intelligent, dedicated, and hardworking.” She continued, “In addition to possessing the professional experience that our courts require, he has demonstrated great kindness toward people facing difficult situations within the legal system.” Torres concluded by saying, “Joe is the kind of judge our community deserves.”
Asked to comment on what it means to receive endorsement of every judge and referee on the bench, Hagedorn said, “I’m proud to have earned the endorsement of the entire Family Law bench. These are my current colleagues who have seen my work firsthand.”
Hagedorn added, “Their confidence and unwavering support reflects my commitment to fairness, integrity, and compassion, and gives voters an informed perspective from those who know the demands of a Multnomah County Circuit Court judge.”
